Ornamental Fish

River Zoo Farm is distributing to Exotic importers Ornamental freshwater fish from Guinea-Bissau as well as Saltwater fish and invertebrates from the little known Bijagos islands.

In Guinea Bissau the are 128 species of recorded freshwater fish, most of which are excellent for Aquariums and include many types of Cichlidae, Knife and Elephant fish, killis and so forth. But there are many undescribed species as very biological investigations have been made in the area.

River Zoo Farm is distributing mostly wild caught fish or the captive young of wild caught specimens. The Wild sources are in unbelievable quantities around the the farm as we are located exactly on two freshwater rivers and also have a large lake near by.

However, RZF is not fully working at this time on it's ornamental fish section as we do not have qualified European Staff at the moment and to supply only the the best quality is necessary to work with a specialist in this section.

So RZF is looking for a franchise partner who would like to operate this section by there selves. We are also looking for larger Fish importers for help in distribution as we are able to offer special conditions.

River Zoo Farm is offering special icthyologic capturing and research expeditions for aquatic hobbyists and scientists. Make your own capturing, your research and your publications and take your fish with you home. Stay on the bush camp River Zoo Farm. We can only accomadate small groups as River Zoo Farm bush Camp is not a hotel. Only a bush camp with a few guest bungalows and an outdoor restaurant.
