Reptiles

RZF offers reptiles and amphibians of the highest quality. We supply Zoo parks, institutes, breeders and qualified exotic importers with field collected and farm bred animals from West Africa and some of the Neighboring countries like Mauritania and the Cabo Verde islands. We also offer other reptiles from our partner farms from around the world.

You may feel that RZF is in some species more expensive then other exporters operating in west Africa. Maybe! but first look into our quality and the care that goes into our animals before export. We only export flawless, healthy animals with no damages. All our animals are cared for and managed by a European Herpetoloculturist.

We take great pride in the level of care our animal receive before shipping, which we feel surpasses any other "Cheap West African exporters". Our reptiles are kept to Zoo standards only and are mostly in big open air enclosures where we recreate their natural habitat where they receive daily care. Several species are kept in stock, some for several months before export so they are acclimatized before shipping.

RZF is really free of DOA's!

Also for our partner farms world wide, RZF is working with them only if they also agree to keep their animals to the standards we set.

We are also always increasing the amount of Reptile breeding projects here at River Zoo farm for both popular pet species and endangered species. In 2003 we had very encouraging results from our, Turtle, Tortoises and Crocodile projects (inc. the Dwarf Black Crocodile). 2004 should be even better!
